I'm about to install a front and rear strut tower brace. My questions are these: If I just unhook the shock actuator and put it back on will it damage the adjustable dampening? And one last question: Do I have to do a whole lot of cutting to the rear interior for the rear brace?

A while back (6 months or so) there was a write up, including pictures, as well as an email address (if I recall correctly) where you could receive a copy of the cut out templates for the shock tower covers. This can all be found by doing a search in the Tech Section of the TwinTurbo.net website.
