IACV or AAC (or both) 93 z32

Recently was told be the dealer that my AAC Valve was defective and needed replacing. I have been on several Zpart sites and they all seem to be a bit confused on this part. WHen I search, I get the IACV assembly when I am looking for the AAC.

the question is: Is the AAC the $300 part or the $80 part???

There is a diagram for you. Has both items mentioned. The AAC is not the cheaper one (That sucks)

courtesy has those backwards. the IACV is the first part(idle adjustment screw obviously on the idle control valve not on the aux air control valve), then the top part is the AAC valve. the IACV is 300, AAC is 80

i would honestly either replace both or take them apart and clean and rebuild them

Thanks to you both for your help.... I was told recently that you just about have to question every part dealers information to be assured of getting the right part. This experience is a good example.

Have a great day
