I want to eliminate catalytics

Hello z drivers, I have a question, I have a 1990 330 zx Na and I'm wondering how should properly eliminate the catalytic converters? Would I gain some horse power? Would I have any problems with the performance what's the right way of doing this. Details please.
Thank you.

Click: Google Search - Z32 Test Pipes

You won't pass smog with them installed. You also might get the "raw exhaust" smell inside the cabin. Depending on what else you've done (mods), it can help w/ performance (maybe a few hp).
