I bought my test pipes !
 

Hey yall i bought my 300zx z-32 test pipes last week thurday.. im expecting them to come soon, but i have ran into what i belive to be normal problems..the bolts from the down pipes " manafolds" are rusted on.. i have hit the bolts 3 times with PB blaster 2 of the 3 bolts came off no problem but the 3 was a real ^#$%#$&^& never the less i used my dremel with the get anywere extesion.. u know its a tight fit under there.. i was able to get the 3rd bolt out but alot of dremeling and drilling was in order.. never the less i got half of the car done im heading back outside to finish the other side wish me luck !

that sounds like me 2 weeks ago, wear GOGGLES. holy crap i cant emphasize that enough. i sound gay but that sh^t flies every where, i was wearing saftey glasses and still got metal embedded in my eyes. to remove that i thought u all should know requires a needle to be inserted in your eye to pop out the "foriegn body". it sucks.

Time is 9:13pm new mexico time i just came in from almost finishing up the car... removal of old pipes useing the dremel to remove old rusted bolts, useing my MAKITA drill to drill holes threw the old screws basicly drill threw the old screws.. good news i got the all the pipes off.. got 5 of the 6 bolts drilled threw tomorow i will be done and bad news safty goggles sucks ass ! i got hot rud metal shavings on my left eye lid and right on my cheek nice burns.. WAR WOUNDS FROM THE 300zx ! lol i cant wait until my test pipes come in ... hopefuill monday or tuesday.. any body want to see pictures?

haha you wanna know the ghetto thing i did to drill better, i made a make-shift revers drill press. i used the nissans jack it comes with put it under the drill. lined it all up and started to drill increasing the pressure with a buddy holing the drill and powering it and another slowly increasing the jack rate. with a good strong bitt you get threw in a little under a minute., but since your almost done, this probly wont help.

Hey im done im done ! i finnaly was able to get threw the last bolt at 3:30 pm today ! i used " step drill bits" and it worked wonderfully granted it took me longer , but i got nice holes to work with now..by the wya i changed out the tranny filter and gasket and put in mercon 5 wow it made a big time differance i have the 300zx up on 8 jack stands 4 in the back and 4 in the front i started her up with only the manafolds sounds like a monster truck ! lol anywyas i put it into gear and it shifted soo smoothly ! i recomend mercon 5 anyways.. my 280zxt is feeling kinda lonley so im off to go drive her around.. hehehe i should have pictures up sooner or later...

hey you guys up date sorry it took so long to get back to yall.. i was incarserated ... " locked up " wednesday night for some dumb ass thing called Domestic Violence order " anyways i got out friday night 6:00 or soo.. i came home and put on the drivers side test pipe fitment was perfect right on ! but the passenger side gave me a little fitment problem.. it was a very tight fit to sqeeze it between the tranny pan .. no problem i got it on i would rate the drivers side about 95% perfect fit the passenger side about 90% perfect fit.. no problems no leaks.. sounds awsome ! looks totaly cool ! saves me gas too ya !!!

lol @ skully ... i wasnt locked up for beating up my family memebers... silly skully tricks are for kids lol well so far so good with the test pipes thou.
