Help wont start :(
 

ok long story short i winterized my z only to have to get it out i put the battary in and what do you that D*MN security system is kicked on. I've tried unlocking all the doors and trunk nothing. Unplugged both the wires on theft box thingy near the ecu. Even took out both the fuses in the engine bay.,..... what do i do before i :s-chainsaw: :fenforcer: :armata_PDT_35:

EDIT i dont know if it makes a differnce but the radio and digital climate wont turn on but the dome lights will

all data just says refer to owners manual for reset procedures...so idk what to tell ya bro...ill ask some techs and see what they say.

Yeah no crank so that's why i say security system. I know you have to lock and unlock the doors but i just remember my driver door wont unlock/lock from the outside.

How about some deductive reasoning instead of letting a computer tell us what to do... (new "technicians" these days... :::sigh::: ).

Is the alarm going off when you open the door?

Try using the key to unlock the hatch or passenger's side door. All locks will arm/disarm the alarm. Sometimes the sensor in the door goes bad (I used to have to open the passenger's door or hatch before opening my driver's side door because the key wouldn't disarm the alarm from the driver's door), so you need to disarm it from one of the other two.

If using the key to unlock one of the other locks does not resolve your issue, it is not likely an alarm issue.

hey guys my dad got it fixed althought he really isn't sure what he did lol * was trying everything* but no the alarm wasn't going off..

If the alarm wasn't going off at all, then it probably wasn't a security issue.
