Headers??...
 

I will be buying a 300zx 2+2 5 speed next summer and I am already filling up my shopping cart for the car. I have heard of putting new headers on the NA is one the single best performace upgrade really. Is this true and has anyone put on new headers?? What kind of performance should I expect?? Thanks.

Headers are one of the better performance parts for the NA. Im not sure of the exact power gains...I would imagine 15-20hp. They are definately worth the money.

another question is how long would it take to put them on. I thought about getttins some after my supercharger but i dont have all the time in the world i only have the weekends to work on my car can the headers be put on in a day. I heard you have to remove a lot of crap to get to them. or maybe soe one was just over exadurating. Anyways... im still trying to decide what i should do after the charger which i might be putting on order here in the next couple of months... laters

well, from what im told:
they are a PITA to instal
and the gains are noticeable with nos....but otherwise....its up for debate. good luck. i wanted headers but im poor and cali smog would fail me with them
