Gutting my cats...
 

I want to gut the cats on my 1900 N/A. I know it illegal and all, but it something i'd like to try to see what happens both for sound and performance. I live in SC and dont have to worry bout emissions crap. Has anyone done this to a Z before. Let me know how it went and what the results were if you can.

first off its load as hell and yes it does add some hrp but you also need to remember that the car does need some back pressure as well so if you gut the cats be sure to leave the mufflers on thats about all the info i have now take to fact that i have never done this but i have taken the mufflers off and ran straight pipes from the cat back and its about the same effect well good luck and let me know what happens! keep on Z'n
