Fuel Pressure regulator

Well guys need some help from you guys. Well im at a point where im gonna get a tune done. I first gota get a few more parts. Well the thing is that im looking at the Nismo fuel pressure regulator....and wanted to know would yall recommend a gauge with that or ....would the new Apexi Neo have that already....also would yall recommend a MBC or a EBC ....for stock turbos and just a few bolt ons

An adjustable fuel pressure regulator is not necessary. The stock FPR in the Z32 has been proven to handle pretty much anything you can throw at it. You should save your $.

EBC are preferred over MBC's. They give more control more easily.

In my opinion, a fuel pressure gauge is a good investment.

2nd on all accounts.

And the adjustable FPR is for cheap people who want to push their injectors past their reasonable limits. By raising the fuel pressure, they're forcing more fuel through the injectors on a given duty cycle. This is not the best way to increase fuel delivery - larger injectors and an ECU tune are.

ebc's tend to hold boost more accurately as well. If you want to raise your boost for cheaper, buy some welding tips and use them as boost jets. I do recommend modifying on the stage schedule though, it'll be safer and yield better gains.

Igh then guys... thanks. Well i talked to this shop and they advised me to get alteast some sort of tuning equipment and im gonna go with the Apexi neo....and they recommended the fuel pressure regulator ....also, and i was thinking of goin with a MBC just for now till i finish my other motor that i have. Do you guys think that is a reasonable idea or ... just x out the MBC and fuel pressure regulator. ....Take in mind that this is to tune for the bolt ons that i have now... not for a settled horsepower.....i have this other motor that im gonna rebuild from oil pan up with slightly moding the long block.

Don't touch your fuel pressure regulator... if this shop says you need it, find a different shop, because they're damn retarded and probably specialize in turbocharging Civics and Cavaliers.

Mod based on the stage chart, as emo236 said.

EBC>MBC for the previously stated reasons.
