foaming chassis
Hey guys
Has anyome inserted urethane foam in the chassis cavities to stiffen the chassis? Are there any lines or wireing in these cavities? the stiffer the car is, the better it will handle, so I'm considering this mod. Any feedback?

Sport Compact Car did it and according to their article, it wasn't that easy from what they say. You can check it out yourself.

actually
The only way that I could see that happening would be if moisture was present to begin with. If you read the article, they'll tell you that the foam expands and consumes all space available. After application, there should be absolutely no way you would be able to introduce moisture into anywhere it was applied. So if the car is dry to begin with (We would all sincerely hope so), you shouldn't have a problem.

Foaming Chassis
Hey guys:
Just talked to a Infiniti rep and he tells me that Infiniti has absoutily no problems with the foaming. If you didn't know, Infiniti uses foam in the Q45 at the factory. So, there should be no rust problem. Nissian has a very good rust control with their products now.
