Exhaust

Is the reason the Exhaust for a coupe (any make) wont fit the 2+2 becuase the 2+2 is longer. Is that the only reason or is there something else.

The 2+2 is longer so the exhaust is longer. Otherwise everything else is the same on the n/a's.

Cool. Are the bends diffrent in a way that. If I bought the exhaust for a coupe. Will it bolt up, with the addition of a longer pipe at the muffler or a straight area. Will the exhaust bolt onto the car. When I say bolt up i mean to the car itself not to the exhaust.

Is someone trying to sell you a 2-seater exhaust really cheap or something? Just wondering.
Yeah, your plan should work except that the mounting points will probably be different. So if you don't mind possibly cutting and rewelding the hangers. In addition to the exhaust extension that you'll need to complete the exhaust itself.

ps I deleted your other post about this subject. Seemed kind of redundant since I was answering both anyway.

The exhaust I want for isnt made for the 2+2, just the coupe. So if the bending is all the same im just gonna by it and do some "customization" to it. No one answered the other post so i figured id put it in this one. Then you started answering them both. Thanks alot thou.

Well I remember my buddy speaking of his FC3S when he created a straight back exhaust system. He said since there was no backpresure, the turbine wouldnt flow properly? Is he blowing some smoke outta his ***? haha get back to me. peace
