there are many body kits for sale on ebay by veilside but i was curious on are they the exact same kit, and about the reliability on getting them off of there, anyone try it?? thanks

 

The only one I'm aware of as being the real kit is Wings West. The Veilside kits are knockoffs I believe.

I believe real veilside kits are Urethane and run $1K+ Knockoffs are usually fiberglass which has worse fitment than Urethane. I've heared you should stay away from VIS.

are the fiberglass kits that much worse?when it comes to lifetime?

 

Basically the main downfall to fiberglass is that it cracks easily. Which means if you put it on the front and it a curb, your more likely to crack it than you are Urethane which is more flexible (also what your front it made out of already).
Also when fiberglass is molded from the original, it isn't as precise (I think because it is laid on the outside). When Urethane is molded, it is injected into a mold which allows for exact matches (thats why it's more $$ than fiberglass). You could always get a Urethane front spoiler and get the rest fiberglass since the front will take most of the stress.

i heard that if not prepped correctly, that they take paint differently, so mixing and matching is only a good idea if you really know your stuff or have a good shop.

Veilsides are the Real deal made out of Fiberglass Erebuni is the knock off and theirs do not match I know someone who has one.
