im planning on replacing my bose stereo system in my car. i was wondering what size speakers it uses in the doors and in the rear? i saw one in a turbo magazine with 6.5 in the doors and 6 by 9's in the back, but i don't think they are that big stock and i don't want to spend alot on a stereo i just want to get rid of that damn ringing and have a cd player.

 

The bose actual speakers are 4" i believe. To replace the speakers you have to get brakets or modify the bose. Check a post below, I described how to do it.

 

6 1/2 in the door and 4x6 in the rear I have replaced both the rear and fronts with pioneers.

 

I just did 4 Z32 Bose system replacements, and have designed a speaker bracket that works with the Bose front and rear enclouser if you are interested. It can hold up to a 6.5" speaker & tweeter. Also have the wiring diagram.
