clutch,,,slave cylinder
woke up in the morning,,,,,went to my car,,,,started my car,,,idle fine,,,but my clutch pedal was push down,,,and just stayed there,,,,so i lift it up with my feet,,,and tried to put it on reverse,,,,did the same thing,,,got stuck again,,,,i chech under my hood,,,,alll my clutch fluid is empty,,,,i was just wondering if it got to do anything with the cluth,,,,,or or,,,,,the slave cylinder,,,or clutch line,,,,,,and it look like it was leaking next to the slave cylinder????can anybody plz tell me whats wrong?i would really appreciate,,thakn you,,,1990 z23 n/a

that was tough to read, go easy on the commas. sounds like you may need to replace your slave cylinder if thats where it's leaking from. had you noticed any change in the clutch feel before the total failure, or did it just stop working all at once?

You should refill the reservoir with fluid, jack the car up, crawl under, and while someone else is pumping the pedal, find where it's leaking from.

sounds like your clutch slave cylinder is blown. Change it and don't forget to bleed the system.

yeah it needs to be change, the same thing happened to me in august sept i was driving when it blew stopped in this crazy busy intersection on my way to work. sucked. but replaced it all for 150 bucks didnt even have to work on it or pay for the towing.
