Brake Lamp Control Module acting up

Hello!
I have a 1996 300zx NA, and when i hit the brakes, the left and right tail lights do not illuminate, however the center one does. Now, I have tracked it down to the Brake Lamp Control Module on the left tail light. When I wiggle the harness that connects to it, the lights flicker on and off. Ive already tried bending the harness connectors to assure that they are making contact, however thatll work for a couple minutes then boom, theyre out again. My question is, is it the harness that need repair? Or is it the Module itself. Has anyone fixed this recently? I can crack it open and resolder it, but i only will if i know its the module itself and not just a loose wire on the harness.

~Thanx

Update

Well guys, as I have work at 5:30am tomorrow, and I have to commute, decided even though it's 1:30am I had to try my luck so I can safely travel to work tomorrow. Ripped the module apart and reflowed the joints. Reinstalled and Voila! All tail lights now working! So it was just a simple cold solder joint for anyone also experiencing this problem.

To be honest, when I looked at your question, my thought was "how the hell should we know if it's a wire or module problem?" Maybe you were expecting it to be a common problem, but if that's the case, a search would've given you the answer. Since it's not common, take note that we cannot diagnose that kind of problem over the internet... a multimeter would've probably told you the tale. If there's power at the connector, it's not wiring...

Glad you figured it out quickly and thank you for posting back so that the solution is now available for others to search in the future.
