Ok my mechanics booklet is always mentioning these lil ***** (AIVS) And I am entirely too lazy to look it up in the index, haha. Im sure if you told me what they were, it would pop right into my mind what they are. Thanks. peace

I've gone thru the cleaning procedure once but I remember reading a thread here about removing them permanently. If I remember right it stated that removal made no difference in driveability or emissions output. I can hear the one on the driver's side making noise and it would one less thing to have to mess with if the quoted results are correct.
