Aftermarket Exhaust
 

I bought a 96 NA Z two years ago and just realized that it has some sort of aftermarket exhaust on it. I live in the midwest, so haven't seen many '96's to compare it to. It's a quad tip and looks similar to other stock Z's, just a little more substantial looking. The sound is a nice purr which intensifies when it gets warmed up. Who ever owned it previously also put an HKS single induction intake on as well. SO WHAT DO I HAVE??

well if you have a pic, it would be alot easier =c) but if you are saying it looks similar to stock..are they square tips? chromed out at all? my guess would be stillen or BnB, but its hard to tell...what you CAN do, is somtimes under neath the muffler tip area, it will say what it is..or jack the car up safely and try to look and see what the "h pipe" says. mine all say JASMA, which is the exhaust i have, imported from japan. hope this helps

Thanks for your input. They are round, and have a chrome surround. I'll check underneath and see what I find!

Since I have no idea about B&B - is it a good one? What benefits does it offer me?
