Z32 TT been sitting for a few years.
Hi guys, this is my first post and hopefully not my last aha. I have the chance to snag a 93 Twin turbo for fairly cheap from a guy just down the road. He said it has been sitting for almost 4 years and naturally it doesn't run. He said it might need a "fuel system overhaul because it has been sitting". My question is what all can be damaged if anything from it sitting for that long. He said he started it a year ago or so but didn't drive it. If I bought it my plan of attack was just tune up, change fluids, drain the tank and get a new battery. Anything else I should/check before I try and start it?

Welcome to ZDriver!
Was it garaged or sitting outside for 4 years? As long as it wasn't in the weather with the hood up, everything should be fine. Just do an in depth check over and replace all fluids. Make sure you check the fuel lines / connections... those can crack / leak as they age.

Well, I mean he said he started it a year ago haha He could just be saying that. I have purchased enough cars to know that people will lie to sell there cars. I may do that as a safety precaution, I mean it couldn't hurt it right?

How cheap is he letting it go for? At a certain price, as long as it starts, you can't lose. These cars are getting hard to find, as I can tell you from the zero in junkyard lots in my area. As a warning though, these cars are a BITCH to work on, super tight engine bays.
