Driving around, having fun, suddenly this god awful noise!! I thought I lost a turbo, or spun a bearing. I stop, I can't hear it anymore. Sort of relived, slowly make it home, I turn last corner to my place, noise comes back. Cruise into the garage, open the hood, shine a light down...

The lower fan shroud must have somehow popped off and hit the fan. The fan looks ok, not wobbly, few fins took a scrape, but not bad. !! Phew...Sleep better tonight!! Happy motoring!
