Year to year changes for Z32 NA

Hi everyone,

I'm interested in someday picking up a Z32 NA and was hoping to find info on the year to year changes of them and what similarities they shared with the TT. I looked through the technical sections on here but most of the links seem to be broken. :102: I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction?

Did the any of the NA cars come with limited slip? Did they have different rear gears than the turbo? What drivetrain/suspension parts if any are interchangeable between the two?

How much worse is the NA's suspension? Is there one year that's desirable over all the others?

I've always loved Z32s... and I'm at a crossroads of either dumping more money into my current car (a Saturn SC2, oddly enough, that I auto-x) or spending it on something a little more worthwhile. Seems like Z32 prices around here are dropping quite a bit. I feel like a t-top z32 na could be a very fun summer/auto-x car that's at LEAST half the fun of a z32 tt for less than half the price, haha. Thanks for your help!

^^^ Good link. I added that to our Z32 General Info sticky: https://www.zdriver.com/forums/300zx-z32-tech-tips-273/general-z32-info-8434/

Thanks guys! Plenty of info there for me to sift through...

so far I've determined that all z32's came with LSD, although the turbo and NA had physically different differentials. The NA's also have a higher rear gear ratio
