hello zdrivers,

just wanted to give an update. some ******* broke into me Z32 last night. busted the passenger window, stole my ipod+cable, random lock i had in my car, and an AIR FRESHNER (like really??? out of all things. why not the stereo???). i hope this ******* gets what he deserves, wherever he may be. getting a new window today. im just soooo pissed!!!

That sucks man, sorry to hear that. Well if he doesn't get his here. He will for sure get it in the end. If I had a Ipod cable that plugged into the front of the stereo. I would keep it with me. I know it would be a hassle. But it would save me some future headache. Also, invest in a car alarm. I put a Viper in my Neon, yes you heard right Neon. lol After it was stolen from my previous work back in April. Haven't had any problems since. It has a blinking blue light, showing it is armed. It also alerts me via remote. Which has a LCD screen of the vehicle. Telling me when the car is being broken into. So I can react fast.

Oh also, my Ipod cord for the stereo on my Neon. Plugs into the back of the unit. So it is all hidden. When the thieves stole my car. They tried to take the cord. But it was too well buried underneath the console. They gave up. Also they didn't touch my stereo, because I had the stereo face with me.

are ipod cables really that hard to come by that people steal them?

f that dude. that's why i like living out in the woods. the one time our property had anything stolen from it, it was nothing short of shocking for us and all the neighbors. probably my fault for having shady friends anyway. sorry for your luck. i constantly stress about the theft issue while living here at school in the city.

wildman- i also have a viper alarm. i was taking a motorcycle lecture class and i heard it, but it didnt go off all the way. i thought some car just passed by and set of the alarm, since it was going off. it just beeped twice and that was it.
domsgarage- i really dont know. i mean i always leave it out and nothing ever happened to it. even when i would leave it around East Los angeles, no one would bother. smh. oh and the airfreshner was one that you clip onto the airvents. it was in my car since i bought it. never used it though.
kasbekz- yeah. it was the first time anything like that has ever happened to my Z. very disappointing.

Get a train horn, then you'll know some **** is up. You know every day alarms get bypassed by onlookers, since everyone uses their panic button to find their cars in crowded parking lots, so no one even looks up.
