glovebox... if I need to be able to reach it to change tracks, I just keep it in my lap (in both my cars). There was a guy on TwinTurbo.NET who fabricated a holder for it that went on the passenger side of the shifter. I'll see if I can find the pics.

Mine is like that, I just added the extra outlet further forward. I felt it looks cleaner.

The actual trunk release (as compared to a hatch release) should tip you off... it's a convertible Z32...

iPod Location

I did the same. I have a FM transmitter, but considering where the lighter is to power & charge transmitter, it made it too difficult to shift. I took out an expensive Sony head unit and replaced it with the least expensive Apline head unit that I could find locally with the Alpine full speed cable (about $200). This was about the same cost as adding a Harmon Kardon unit to interface the iPod, and then I didn't like the way I had to install the Harmon Kardon controller and had to put the LCD on the dash. My iPod is now in the glove box. I installed it using the belt clip that comes with it and some velcro. Works great! The only time it comes out is when I want to update the songs on it, or I am travelling on business (something to listen to on the plane). I also upgraded my stereo system as well. I installed a Kicker 5-channel amp. 5" Focal component speakers in the front, 6-1/2 Cerwin Vegas in the rear, and 10" Infinity sub in a custom enclosure (I built) in the rear. I like it!

I have the Fast Connect cable (also know as the full throttle cable) connected to a iPod Mini (6 GIG). The Fast connect cable charges my iPod. I leave the iPod on HOLD so that there is no problems with things shifting in my glove box, since it is velcro'ed in the glove box, but you'll see on your iPod when it is connected that it says "Apline Connected" on its screen and buttons are deactivated anyways. I have full control of my iPod thru the Apline Controls on the head unit. I love it! And since the display is so much larger on the Apline over my iPod, I don't need my reading glasses to figure out what is going on with my iPod in the car!

I don't use the IPOD I just picked up USB dongle on my new Kenwood MP832U, I can put up to 2G per dongle at $25 a dongle. I can also get the 4G when the price comes down.

Yeah for 25 bux? Well actually microcenter has a few deals on those.

But those subs do OK. I originally got them for my Jetta cuz factory stereo = no bass/all treble. My neighbor has a pep boys "special" 10" sub and his resonates at least 3 houses down, these, well, maybe the front yard. Add to the fact they take up 95% of the trunk, but hey, got them for free, and sound good to me.
