Im about to get my 91 2+2 and im goin on all the websites looking for turbo kits and for some odd reason i cant find any for my car. If anyone could reply and jusst let me know of any websites or anything like that it would be greatly appreciated. thank you very much.

 

The easiest route would probably be going with a tt front clip.

 

I have seen it befor it so sexy i needz to find and get one that car is so hot so u can only buy it in Jap

 

some one said that there is a 2000 as well does any one kno what that looks like

 

im thinking about getting the 91 and converting it into a full 99
or would me just going out and buying the 99 be cheaper what u guys think

 

Just do that and buy the 99 parts(fascia, taillights, Xenon headlights, wing) IMO would be better than going through the hassle of importing.

 

ya importing would suck dude. Plus depending on what the item ways and what you payed for it you have to pay like a 3.5% duty at the wharf thats a pretty hefty charge. Yeah i would agree with everyone else just be ready to spend the money for the JSpec parts there not inexpensive. Xenon headlights alone 1500. JDM is very expensive but looks very good when done.

 

i highly recommend noyanusa. they r 10 mins away from where i live. their warehouse is humungous. i got my tranny through them. $750 installed with unlimited miles and labor warranty(best kind). they hv atleast 5-6 front end clips that i hv seen myself. i think they go for abt 3gs or so. lemme know if u need more info. peace.

 

Yeah im in PA and just got my clip from Noyanusa got it for 3250.00 shipped. 2900.00 if you can pick it up yourself. real nice i highly suggest them.

first of all if your gonna spend all that money to put on turbo's, you gotta get a hell of a lot of things that can add up far more than buying a front clip to convert it..
like intrercoolers, piping(engine bay and exhaust), the turbo's, tt ecu, ect., ect., ect. and after all that, your gonna be running 5-7 lbs. boost because the non-turbo z engines are high compression. their built to preform without turbos.
just got with a front clip bro.. then dress your car with what ever they sell to make it look like a 99. lots of shops out there like amz, zimotorsports, stillen, conseptz, ect. lots to choose from
and hell, you might score some parts off the clip like the jdm fenders and the bumper.
before you buy the 2+2, try looking for a tt z imo. all you need is 2 seats..one for you, and one for your honey.

yeah, you want it to look like a true '99, you need a 2+2 or the side skirts wont fit. and you got room for 2 more honeys

 

I don't know about that.

 

more weight on its *** means greater chances of skidding. you need a "wider" wheel base for traction at the turns which the 2+2 isnt

i've been slacking some over there, i haven't really been browsing over there much if at all. Just seems kinda repetitive n boring for the most part.

 

What's the front/rear weight distribution on the 2+2 vs the 2+0? I believe the best handling/race cars run 50-54% rear weight.

 

a lot of people rather have a 2+2 for auto x because of it. but...

IMO... the 2+2 is about 9" longer, same wheel base. longer car will be a bit harder to handle, but who knows if 9" 's will make a differance so i guess it breaks down to weight distribution....
