is this tt worth 9500?

so ive been looking at z32s lately, and I found one that i like. It is a 1994 TT with a 45000 mile jdm engine. The car itself has 130000 miles on it. it is really straight and it has tociko 5 ways, eibach springs, no name cat back, new water pump, all belts are new including timing belt, a/c works good, interior is good, the car is black on black with a 5 speed, polished intake manifolds, and it drives really good. the guy wants 9500 for it and i talked him down from 11000. so is that the usual price for a 1994 TT nowadays, or is that a rip?

I don't think he's saying "beware" for emissions sake. He's probably saying that because a JDM motor has likely been quite used & abused... and who installed the motor? Coulda been a half-assed job. I'm sure there's other reasons too.

yup. there is no history on the jdm engine. it could have been sitting for years while hoses and wires eroded away.

well i looked it over pretty good, and everything looks and sounds good. the only thing i dont like is immideately after shutting off the car i hear a bubbling sound from the inside. kinda like there is water in the cooling system or something wierd. i will definately keep looking at other cars though, im sure i can find a much better tt than this one.
