91, how much did the short shift reduce your throw?

they usually reduce about 30% of the throw distance.
i dont know about the others, but the stealin one that i have is tighter than the stock...which feels a lot better, and it makes a cool clicking noise when i shift.

I don't have it in yet. I bought it from Courtesy. It's a Top Speed short shifter. It appears to be identical to the one STEALIN sells, but for much less $$$. I couldn't convinve Dad to start the teardown this past weekend, so I'll have until next weekend. My goal is to take everything off of it this coming weekend (midpipes/driveshaft/tranny/clutch/flywheel/downpipes, etc). October 16th and 17th I'll put it all back together with the new stuff. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Remember, measure twice cut once... hopy everything goes smooth and if it does I would gladly love to throw down a pink slip race against it hehe

With what, your old car, Lumpy? I may have been born at night, but not last night.

I just hope it all comes out and goes back in the way that I want. Dad noticed that there are 2 bolts missing from the driver's side turbo-to-downpipe flange. There's one missing on the passenger. I guess that'll make it that much easier to get them out. I'll have to tap a couple new studs. I bet that the shop that replaced the clutch broke them off. That was before I got the car. That's probably where I have a very minor exhaust leak. (noticed it when I added the seafoam).

I'm as anxious as a little kid on Xmas morning to get this done. It shouldn't be hard work, but it will be time consuming.

Remember guys, I'll have the tranny out. Muy easier.

Bardabe-check your HP specs on thohse mods. I don't think you'll get 20HP out of the intake. You'll get roughly 30HP max out of the mods you listed. If you want to do something that'll make a difference, then install an ASHSPEC chip. Rizz has a link to the dyno charts in his sig.

I like it better when you can see them beating on the dashboard as you pull away. Like that's gonna' make it go faster.
