Don't buy chinese made products for a z32?

haven't been on here in over a year, but i see hoov is still the same ole hoov, lol. Basically you don't need a short ram for the Z32, genuinally a short ram replaces a stock air box in the engine bay with some piping and a filter away from engine heat, but, given the Z32 air box is already away from engine you, you just need a filter (a piece of note book paper over the MAF would probably flow better than the stock air box.....)

Remove the stock air box, there will be several screws holding it in, it will take you about 3 hours ( + / - 1.5 hours depending on your tools and how mechanically inclined you are, swivel heads/ extensions are a must), taking your time to remove them all, removing ones you see, then putting GENTLE !!! pressure on it to find the ones you can't see (some will be up towards the front fascia / bumper that are hard to see unless you really put your head in there and take some weird angles), and remove the air box, trash it, install your aftermarket air filter. If it came with any piping it's all extraneous; all you really need is the filter, and the bracket to attach it to your MAF. one thing you might consider is just returning your Injen kit kit and buy a JWT (Jim wolf technology) air filter kit. I know the injen kit runs about 200 bucks, the JWT kit, with the appropriate bracket is 89 plus shipping from Coz. http://czp.us/Cart/description.php?I...699.30.240.146

JWT, ARC or nothing IMO. When I removed mine I got fed up with it and just broke off the stock airbox and then removed the screws I could find. No point in trying to keep a part pretty when it's just going to be tossed in the trash after.

I did the same thing. But I'm always afraid I'm going to damage the fascia, some of the attachment points are on it IIRC, I dunno, it's been 7 years since I did mine and I haven't done it on my 2 + 2 yet.

Yes return the Injen, get a JWT filter.
