Has anyone heard if the seafoam product is a safe method to getting rid of carbon build up? I hear you should use an engine cleaner before every other oil change.

Are there any other products that do the same or better?

And it's not really necessary, but it can't hurt (if it's done right).

 

I used it on my 240sx. Gas tank, oil, and in the vaccum hose. I passed smog...I just ran my tank out then did an oil change. Driven a couple thousand since and havn't seen any negative side affects, Go for it if you want a clear concious about your Z

 

I enjoy smoking up the neighborhood with it.

 

hmm mines a 92 just not sure i feel safe doing it iv gotten some good tips so i may try it

 

not an alcohol based product like most cleaners, so safe in all Z injectors if thats what your thinking
