Is a salvaged z worth it?
I am still searching for a Twin in california and stumbled upon a '94 lady tt. Seems really nice, but holds a salvage title. It was in a minor accident, but was fixed and really LOOKS AMAZING! but i would prefer it lasting me a long time, than it just having a pretty face. =( really want to get it, but i would like to get some opinions first. thanks Zdriver.

How much they are asking, price wise??
Pictures will be nice, how many miles, timing belt, condition how it drive and run etc etc...... under the 5-4K range? More info will be good. You don't want to dump a lot of money on a salvage TT. Jamal |

check the underbody and check your crossmember, Frame, check for dents anywhere front and rear... make sure nothing was done cheap like, stretched the body, cheap welding, rust on weld, stiff components. if everything on the frame/sub-frame/xmember/suspension looks fine, i would totally get that Z, engine mechanical/transmission, seals and electrical are a no biggie.. but damage to any body is like having cancer... takes a long time to fix
