Pictures of my Z32 during a beautiful sunset...

We had a really nice sunset a few nights ago, so I snapped some pics. I have 3.2Megapixel version available upon request.

I didn't post these for negative comments, so if you have a problem with something I did to my car, keep it to yourself because it won't affect my opinion one way or another. I simply figured some people would appreciate some nice pictures of a clean 300ZX.

damn ricer.... lol j/k

you still manage to keep a super clean z.

its still funny to see you with a black z. i still think aztec red pwnts you.

BELIEVE me, any time I dig through old pictures and come across one like this
http://www.streetneeds.com/uploads/3...ub/Newest1.jpg

it makes me wish the accident would've never happened. On the other hand, I never actually wanted a red sports car; they just attract too much police attention. I wanted a silver Z actually. Black is beautiful when it's clean, but this Z doesn't have the aura (or the sentimental value) that the red Z had. As a side story, it's a sinful blessing that the accident happened. I found out after the accident that the machine shop I used to machine that block did a bad job, and I needed a new engine anyway. If I had never been in the accident, I would've kept wondering why the dipstick was still popping out after a rebuild and I wouldn't have had another good engine to use. However, if Ultimate Z didn't offer to sell me the black Z at the price they did, I would've ended up fixing the red Z. Things just fell into place better with the black Z, so GET USED TO IT! lol :D

Those Halo's look awesome IMO! I would never do it myself...but they look like snake eyes! good work.

RPS13_GZ32 Sep 6, 2005 02:07 AM

Piiimmpp, clean rides man.

DanZ32 Sep 6, 2005 02:57 PM

Very, very nice!
The halos look good, imo.

BigBirdsZ Sep 6, 2005 08:05 PM

yo you did those halos your self?

ZLover4Life Sep 7, 2005 02:21 PM

yeah. I'm currently checking around for the best prices on the parts to make them because I'm thinking of making them to sell to other Z owners (there were a lot of people who asked me to do that when I first posted pictures). I'd probably do a variety of colors (since legally, you can only have white or amber lights on the front of your car while driving... so I can't legally turn mine on while I'm driving because they're blue), and options with the packages (I'd sell completed headlights for a straight swap and have a core charge, as well as the completed rings for the person to take apart his own headlight and install it themselves).

I dig the halos. Start a separate post about them when you get rolling with the core/swap and DIY program.

waterdogzx Sep 29, 2005 07:56 PM

Ok, I've been thinking about this and I've shown your pics to some of my friends. It's unanimous, we all agree that you need to do a how-to/write up on how to add the halos...please.

ZLover4Life Sep 30, 2005 02:10 PM

here's your writeup

do this
http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg...&msg_id=927171

then take apart the headlight (8 little phillips screws holding on the metal brackets, use a heatgun to heat up the tar that holds the glass in, pry the glass off)

then do this

done
