Ordered HID's....

So my testpipes still arn't in at Concept Z (been close to 2 month's!!!!) so while I wait for them to arrive and be shipped with my HKS exhaust I decided I needed a set of HID's for the Z.

Ordered from plugandplaykits.com

I ordered a 6000K Kit (Crystal Blue)

Guy who runs it Jason got back to me immediately and was great to talk with online.

Heres a link to his post on tt.net. I'm a member on there like I'm sure many of you are. If you are a member you can get the kit for $119 shipped.

I should be getting them next week if not the week after. I'll post up Before and after picks and a rating of how I feel the kit is quality wise. If everything goes well mabye I'll get a kit for my foglamps.

hey can u show us all a picture of what wires you hooked up after the ballest ?

The_MuffinMan25 12-12-2008 02:31 AM

I can take some pics tomorrow after work (car's at parents house) I mean its standard:1) unplug stock bulb from housing 2) remove bulb from connector (dont touch bulb if you want to keep as back up for when HID's go out) 3) plug connector into the back of the ballast. 4) plug wire from ballast into HID bulb and install into light housing (can be a little bit of a pain, practice installing the stock bulb a couple times so you get the HID bulb in easier) 5) Mount ballast as you please in engine bay (I just set them down in a secure spot)

Hope that clears up any questions...I'll log in tomorrow and if you have not replied, or still want to see I'll post up pics.

eh, i like my silverstars. cheaper, no installation hassle...

I'll be driving at night time and people flash me all the time because they think i have my brights on... and i say "OH NO YOU DID INT!" and right when they get by me i'm like "KABLAAM!" and hit the brights. I love it. (i guess the glare guard removal of the fog lights helps too, and silver star fog lights, can't imagine what the silver star brights do though). plus i'll never buy another head light again. if one gues out, i'll go to wal-mart, buy some more, take the old one's back in the new package receipt and say it didn't work.

If I got new head lights, it'd be the JSPEC's. a local friend with a vert has them and they are so nice, but eh $$ is crazy.
