1. Z1 N/A radiator and electric fan....370
2. Unorthodox ud full pulley kit...370
3. SPL parts upper adj. control arms, install KYB AGX and Eibachs...600
4. if needed ACT clutch, and then install lightweight flywheel, buy AMZ headers, high flow cats....1100
5.(or D, forgot what it was) Complete leather interior, probably black...500
6. buy rebuilt calipers, SS brake lines, fluid, install c/d, slotted rotors...550
7. engine dressup stuff, blue and J-spec taillights...500

1. Save it for when you need it. R U running hot?
2. Maybe some h.p., measurable? Do it at timing belt time.
3. Definitely an upgrade / improvement. I vote #1
4. That one is dynamic. biggest $ I'd mix the headers, cats & suspension parts. Do you need a clutch?
5. Bling Bling
6. Why rebuilt? Do they leak? If anything go Aluminum. Im impressed with my new rotors & pads.
7. See #5
Just my 25 cents.
If ECU was an option, I'd vote that, but since it's not, I vote brakes; however, I don't think I'd go with rebuilt. Go with the Skyline kit. Yes, it's more expensive, but I believe you get what you pay for. You're looking at $1100 (give or take) for the kit + the lines. Next up would be the suspension parts. What you listed is fine. You would also need to install the adjustable tension rods; otherwise you'll wear out the bearings in the adjustable front upper control arms. I think CC is right on.....when you need a timing belt, then install the pullies. You could install the radiator and fan at this point if you need to. You will not notice a difference, even with the seat-o-the-pants dyno with the fan. It will give you more room and clean up the engine compartment a bit. So it's partially a :bling: upgrade. When the clutch wears out, then install the ACT clutch, flywheel, headers and mid pipes w/hi flow cats. 1 piece driveshaft would be a good upgrade at that time also. That is a very labor intensive job. I waited until I needed a clutch. You don't have to do it until you need to. I don't think I'd do the leather upgrade. That $ could be much better spent elsewhere. Same thing with the engine dress up kit. That $ could be better spent elsewhere. The only reason I'm cleaing mine up is because I already have everything apart. I'm doing body parts last....nose, side-skirts, wing, tails. The entire car will be re-painted at that point. I'm not going to want to be installing parts onto the car after it's been painted, so treat it as the finishing touch. If I had an N/A, I would also look at having the plenums honed.
The best advice....save your $ and buy a TT in a few years. That stock TT will be faster than the N/A will be when you're all done adding the parts listed above.

#3 - if you haven't upgraded the suspension, that will make a HUGE difference. Biggest bang for the buck on that list.
Consider swaybars & CZP Rear Sway Links, and rear subframe spacers too while you are under there....That's where I'm going next!

I'm of the same mind set as 91 and lightspeed. On an N/A, I'd go brakes then suspension.
After that, I would go exhaust/headers (exhaust priority over headers).
If the ECU was in the plans, then maybe I would go with exhaust first.
Unless of course it is time for scheduled maintenance under the hood. If the timing belt service is to be done or anything in that are. It would be labour saving to consider the pullies, rad and e-fan.

ecu is given... :hpydance:
i already have brembo brakes and pads. so i just want new calipers and brake lines...my dad will like that price to 91...
canyon carver....i want to get rid of the shroud and at the same time would just get new radiator. i am also testing out my clutch because i believe it is wearing. and i will wait to do all that when i need a clutch so stuff is only taken down once
91...for the last time...ive got a 1 piece driveshaft
thanks for the input guys
91, your order is coming soon...sorry im procrastinating

b-did you get that PM about the ecu? What, pops doesn't want to drop a grand on brakes? Too bad.
I really think it would be a good idea to get a 1-piece driveshaft.
I can't keep up with who has what anymore.
We need another section in our profile that gives us room to list what we've done to our cars and what we want to do.

if we listed all of our mods, 91 would have at least 2 pages for his z and chevy...so thats basically why.
ill get back to you later about that...i have been busy this week. going on 4 straight days of work...
plus my lady is calling since we got out of school today and yesterday for flooding :hpydance: :dancing:
Ehhhhhh, I don't know. I had it that way, but I don't like having it listed there. If we could add it on our user CP profile, then people can look if they want; otherwise, we always have to read the same crap over and over again; which is actually kind of ironic since that's what we do anyways. If our signatures are kept short, then we can change them periodically and people will actually notice that they changed.
well, i have decided to do the brake upgrade first mainly because my dad will actually allow me to do it.
i am trying to find a way to get him to let me do the suspension, but i dont know what to say. hey cc, where would my car sit with 275/35/17 and 245/35/17 with the eibach kit?
