Hey guys I have a 1990 300zx 2+2 with a Trans problem. My car sifts fine up to fourth gear but once I let off the gas it down shift to third, once I hit the gas it will shift back into fourth. Has anyone else have this problem before?

 

Start with the Basics..

I presume we are talking about an Automatic..

History on the Car and Problem would be nice.. Have you run any Codes?..

Checked fluid level?..

Yes it's auto fluids and everything is fine the Trans has 70xxx miles on it but when your driving all gears run smoothly threw its just as soon as you let off the gas it down shifts and once you hit the gas it upshifts

 

How about some History..

Is this a NEW problem.. or is this something that the Car has always done?.. when did it start.. ??

 

Just purchased the vehicle as a project and Trans was bad so replaced it with this one
