Ok I just got my car from a friend, it's a 90 n/a, but he swapped it out to be a TT, dk what year engine though. Well it was sitting in his back yard for 2 years, just got it running today, it was getting any spark so I checked the PTU and that fixed the problem. Now he decides to tell me that he some how unplugged the boost whatever it was from the back of the gauge cluster and turned off the turbos, he did it because the car was fishtailing too much when the turbos were on, d don't know it he was a sorry driver or what. Can this be possible, and if it is how would i turn the damn thing on, i checked where he told me to check and there is nothing behind the gauge cluster, i didn't take the whole thing out though, only looked down from the top. The car is running fine though, put for a turbo car it should be pulling alot harder than it is, so i'm guessing he's right about turning them off.
