Hmm is that a VG30DETT? That really doesn't look like it at all.

wow that picture just now made sense after looking at it again 6 hours laer. yeha i agree with silver hand, i now know its mostly just hte turbo part of the motor. but it doesnt look like the piping on a VG30dett at all. i thought after the turbo was an elbow witht the O2 housing and then a down pipe.

hehe...
well any idea? we kinda temp fixed it, it held boost fine all the way up to 14psi (thats right i installed the boost controller right!! haha) after screwing around with vaccum leaks all freaking day...we had to retighten pretty much all the turbo hoses...and it still leaks a little by the EGR valve (ARGH!) but im not touching it till i change the clutch again, i told him to take it easy..watch hes boost gauge, listen for pinging etc. watch the hot days...hopefully he will listen, heh giving my older brother advice...ahh. But yeah, we fired it up...runs good...took it out on a lone road and started boosting from 8 psi and increasing by 1 psi untill we got to 14, listening and watching the gauges...holds boost good, doesnt ping, no spikes...so far so good.
thanks guys (btw.--i still need the name of that pipe because we want to replace the one we temp fixed)
