need help. cant find any answers...
 

I have a 91 300zx n/a five speed. I got it for a project. Its my first one and I've always wanted one. As I said,its a project and I have a few problems. Here we go,and ANY help is appreciated.

Okay it runs super rich. Like flamethrower rich when revving.

It diesels for about ten seconds after shutoff.

I'm wondering what ecu should be in it because the guy before me said he changed it.

The tachometer reads fast. In other words at idle it sits at about 1500 when I know damn well its at 7-800 max.

Not sure if its rear main or oil pan but It leaks worse when running. (My guess is rear main). Haven't had acchance to look closely.

And the clutch starts engaging as soon as the pedal starts coming up. Should I turn the fork on the clutch master further toward the firewall or more away?

By the way, if it matters its a 2+2 t top

look up the freeplay for the clutch in the fsm. probably 1/2" should be sufficient. the other stuff start digging in the fsm. post the ecu part number on google and see what comes back. yoUR rear main is probably a good guess. You got to drop the tranny to get at it so you can look at the clutch etc whilst in there.
