My new Z
 

Well, I couldn't wait forever, and I didn't. I got a 90 TT w/ a 93 motor in it. Usually I like doing all the mods myself, but this was such a good deal, I couldn't pass it up. The car cost me $7500. Here are all the mods and info I can think of as of now. I don't have a digi cam anymore since it was stolen, so I'll have to borrow someone's and take some pics.
Repainted (boo) with white with a pearl blue clear (looks really good)
charcoal cloth (boo) interior
The mods are as follows:
93 motor taken from a crashed TT
sport 500 turbos
nismo 555cc injectors
single pop
scott hardpipes
greg dupree split dp's
3 in cats
sebring catback
koyo radiator
jwt ecu
boost jets (14 psi)
racing hart 17s w/ kuhmos
ss brake lines
underdrive pulleys
That's all I can think of right now. The car is decently clean. The interior needs some attention (drivers seat is a little ripped up on the side and the rear cargo piece has the carpet coming off). The dash is perfect! much cleaner than my other Z. It looks brand new! The exterior is very straight. Almost no dings! The front of the oil pan is oily (gasket) and the power steering return hose looks a little wet in some areas, only leaks I found from crawling underneath. So far the car is a lot of fun other than the fact that it's stranded in Castaic right now (so frustrating!).
So on my way down the grapevine, some stuff from the road got into my alternator and shorted in out. Luckily (and not) it died right accross the street from a 76 with a shop. well, long story short, for diagnosis, the alternator, and the labor, it's gonna cost me about $450 and I'm having the hardest time getting a ride back up there to pick up the car. Castaic is like 3 hours away from me right now! So, there's been some trouble in paradise. But it's nice to be in another TT.

oh yea, almost forgot, 90K miles on the motor and 4K miles on an awesomely rebuilt 5 spd.....feels like a new tranny, it's perfect!

Very nice man... congrats. I just bought my 1990 TT (first time Z owner)... and im in goddamned iraq! lol... can't wait to get home and lay down some rubber. Good job on the buy dude.

The Supra is still having kinks worked out after the whole HG job. I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't idle. I quadrupled checked everything and took almost everything apart again trying to figure it out! I finally came to the conclusion that the TPS is bad. So I got to fix that and then sell the car. I need to get back down to one car! I'm 21 and own 3 cars!

Where the hell is Castaic??

I sold my old car to a couple club members. Actually, my old car will be on the road again. One of the guys crashed his car after completely rebuilding his motor (chrome or powder coating everything), so he's gonna put his drivetrain in my old car. I still have the wheels and the stereo from my old Z. Castaic is right north of LA.

I got the car back today. I'll try to wash, borrow a camera and post some pics tomorow or sometime soon! Dangit, it sucks not having my own camera anymore!

cool can't wait to see it. with those kind of mods i would drop 7 5 for it. just curious what kind of camera did you have?

I need to wax the car more....ran out of time tonight and put those Zdriver decals in the quarter windows! Also, does anyone know where to get those rubber strippings that go around the headlights...you can see I'm missing them. Also does anyone have any ideas on how to refresh the back stripe that goes around the bottom...it was masked off in back during painting and it appears that parts of it got torn off.
