Gotta love good manufacturing. Test fit went flawlessly... I couldn't have asked for much better of a fit. Stock one came off nice and easy too.













So the next few days are filled with rear-main seal replacement, subframe bushing replacement, tail light replacement, and getting that spoiler finished.

I've already replaced the center panel and repaired my rear hatch lock (after 3 years of owning the car and it being seized since I got it). Trans is out already, too.

 

nice. is the 3rd brake light leds?

 

That it is. Kaminari's 60LED spoiler.

 

love that spoiler only aftermarket one i think i ever liked good choice. let me know if you need it painted haha

Bad *** man About time you got it ha ha hadn't been on the forums lately. been busy getting me all the 99 Stuff for my conversion.

 

Spoiler is off to paint... I expect it back Monday or Tuesday... at which point the tail lights should be repaired as well. Car should be back together by Tuesday night or Wednesday.

 

pft, fine you dont want my awesome paint skills w/e lol. free of charge to haha.

 

Free of charge? You were going to cover the cost of materials? Because my neighbor (who works at Cars Collision Center) is charging me for materials only... lol

the kaminari spoiler has always been a toss up for me. it looks sweet from the front, but looks way to big from the back.

 

thats what i would have done. lol didn't know you had bud doing it already thought you actually sent it to a shop paying full. haha.

 

I don't pay for service... I don't even pay to have my hair cut (I bought a pair of clippers so I can do that myself). If I didn't have friends who could paint, I'd do it myself... no matter how many times I had to do it to get it done right.

My philosophy on the matter is quite simple - if there is a human being that is capable of performing some task, then I am capable of doing the same.

oh very nice.... there seems to be a hose stuck in your Z in that last pic, might want to get that looked at.

 

I've had it looked at... the moment I remove it, the car runs out of fuel. It's permanently attached.

If only you could see this car up close and see all the problems it has (rust, missing clearcoat, dents, etc). I won't be Z-less though... when I'm ready to get rid of this one, it'll be to buy a cleaner one to swap everything over to.
