Injectors

This question has been on my mind for a while.. here it goes.. well zlover you said in a previous thread of mine that bigger injectors are required for more than ~410 bhp or 350rwhp ... And a stage 3 car should push around 400bhp.. lets say downpipes and test pipes are installed therefore the car will push more than 410bhp with stock injectors.. would that be safe ?? In other words the question here is, is it possible to run more than ~410 bhp on stock injectors or that will cause issues ?

You're going to be pushing the limits if you turn up the boost at all beyond what the boost jets give. If you stick to the ~14psi you get with the boost jets that come with the ECUs, you'll be fine.

u mean it all depends on the boost if it is ~14 psi the car can go above 420bhp with dual pop chagers test pipes and without problems?

Why do I have to repeat myself?

At 14psi on stock turbos (don't even try it with aftermarket, which move MUCH more air at 14psi), the injectors can compensate for the amount of air that the engine is drawing in.

What I said before regarding horsepower and injector size is called a "general rule of thumb," which means it's a quick approximation of how much horsepower an injector can flow enough fuel for. And I believe I told you that X cc/min ~ X rwhp. Thus, stock 370cc/min injectors can handle ~370rwhp or ~435bhp.

(And before you even ask, if you didn't know that a larger turbo moves more air at 14psi than a smaller one, please search google and twinturbo.net for writeups regarding how turbos work.)

because you never answer me directly.. my question was related to more than 430 bhp on stock injectors .. a proper dual intake, full exhaust system, and ECU.. the car will push more than 430bhp lets say 460bhp for example,
can the injectors handle it or not...
that is the question .. and obviously the answer must be short brief and clear one.

P.s: you may be answering me the proper way but im not very fluent in english.. so try to be clear so that you wont repeat you answers twice or more..

1) YOUR STOCK TURBO CAR WILL NOT PRODUCE 460BHP. SERIOUSLY. It takes WAY more mods than that to reach such numbers, and the car needs to be 100% healthy. Yours is not.

2) YOU WILL BE FINE WITH ANY SUPPORTING MODS AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT BOOST HIGHER THAN 14PSI ON STOCK TURBOS.

And:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_thumb

A rule of thumb is a principle with broad application that is not intended to be strictly accurate or reliable for every situation. It is an easily learned and easily applied procedure for approximately calculating or recalling some value, or for making some determination

Clear now?
