You are letting them warm up, right? HID's are dim when first light, and then are at full brightness once they heat up. So if you're just turning them on, saying "oh, they're not bright," and turning them off, that's the problem.

Thats what i thought was wrong at first but i was driving with them on last night.
sure they're brighter than standard halogen bulbs,
but im not getting the brightest or distance as other Hids that i've seen.
i dont know why?
or what to do, some of my friends said i should try aiming my headlights higher.

Mine felt the same way didn't feel like I gained much extra distance of sight and they dont seem as bright as I thought, I got 8000K tho so more color less visibility gain...atleast they look nice

Ahahaha yeah they look a lot better alright much better then Halogen bulbs.
But i just expected much more brightness and visibility. I'm gonna try to aim the projectors a bit higher to see if it helps, cause i think my lights are hitting the ground way too much.

Don't make them so high that you **** off other drivers. If oncoming traffic starts flashing their brights at you, lower them and go buy non-eBay HID's.

6000k should be pretty bright. 6400k is daylight. anything lower is more yellow, anything higher is more blue/violet. anything not 6400k-ish is more color, less pure white light.
