Fianally got my TT.

Picked up my '91 TT today. It is completely stock other than the Stillen adjustable control arms, Stillen short-throw shifter, and shaved racing pedals. It has the Bose system which sounds great in the front, but crackles in the back. Oh well, I knew I was going to be replacing that. The body is mint with the exception of the front, which has road speckle on it. That is due to the fact that the owner is a race car driver and he took it to the track and got a face full of gravel after his buddy ran a little too close on inside apex. Boost hit a full 9.5 and it hauls ***. The interior is as if it just came out of the factory. It came with 13 years of maintenance records, research material and the Nissan service manual. Plus, the guy invited me to take it to the track where he instructs. He really loves this car and wants to keep in touch with me so that he knows how the car is. It now has 79,080 miles. Get this, here is the smog results for 25mph:
HC=2ppm
CO=0%
NO=2ppm
The 15 mph results are about the same. For those of you who do not know, that is record levels. Right on par with the new cars. If not, better. It will need a new clutch in the next 10,000 miles, though. Plus, it is still on it's original shocks. So, about $1300 for a DYI on the shocks and clutch and I am good to go. Oh yeah, all the maintenance for 60,000 (30,000) was done right at 60,050. I am still trying to figure out whether or not to keep this baby stock w/ low miles or go all out and track it. For now, I will just enjoy it and have fun.
I will be taking it to my local Z shop so they can have a look at it. Then I will know for sure that this car is as good as I think it is. I will post pics in the near future. Later.

Nice find. ..... You can take a stock car to the track. Then you'll want to start upgrading the suspension. Bigger sway bars will make a huge improvement. Then of course, the lowering routine.
