f-ing clutch!
f-ing clutch!
i drove 30 minutes away from school today in the opposite direction from my home and parked, went in the store, and came back out. well suddenly my clutch peddle stuck to the floor and i couldn't get in first. there's a puddle of fluid under the car too! yay! my car's stuck in some random ghetto parking lot for the night where it might get towed! stupid f-ing hydraulic clutch. that's my third least favorite thing about the car is having to deal with that ****.
*****... I've driven the car with no clutch before. Rev-match. Yeah, you'll grind 1st every time, but it beats leaving the car in unknown areas.
By the way, tell your girlfriend that she's a piece of ****. See how she likes it.

lol that's pretty much the response she gets.
and i was pulled into a spot with a car in front of me.... i can NOT get it in reverse with as little use of the clutch as i had lol. dad's coming down tomorrow morning with some fluid and the bleeder to take care of this ****. i hope it's not a busted soft line... just thought of that. it's new so it shouldn't be.

i've never pulled my motor thank you. i left the block in...
first least favorite thing: the wipers wipe once more after you turn them off.
second: it takes me at least an hour and a half to get the tranny stabbed cause of the weird angle.
it turned out to be a rusted through hard line up under the battery tray where the line goes through an insulated bracket. i went a god a length from advanced and put it on with a press fitting and job done. after a bleed of course.
and the clutch isn't really my third least favorite thing. i don't rate that far up lol. but after having to mess with it so very much i do feel like putting a cable clutch in. it works great on older hondas! i wouldn't really, but i can dream.

the purpose is not so that you can bleed it from the engine bay. even with the upper bleed, it's still almost essential to bleed it from both, unless you're bold like zlover lol. he says he does it from just the top but i can never get that to work. i always have to do both.
Yeah, I've never (i.e. not a single time) bled the clutch from the slave cylinder. And I've never had a problem with air in my lines.
And by the way, when my slave cylinder was out, I backed out of at least one parking space. It definitely wasn't a fun experience, but still.

hmm. you don't even let it free drip with both of them open? i was able to do that today and then when i went to bleed the slave i didn't get any air. i'm getting better at this gig so i'll give it a try next time, if ever, without doing the slave. i'll post up.
