F*$&#%g ****

so, i found out after my ttz drove away today, that it has been my dads plan to get rid of any zs for a while. he basically tricked me into selling mine, and then making me think i was going to get a different one. he even printed out a few autotrader adds last week. but now he "thinks" i should wait till next summer to start looking for a new Z, and buy a truck.

soooooooo i guess im gonna buy a beater truck and put a majority of the Z money into my engine rebuild. i dont even know what to do now. im gonna have to find something else to work on now.

he wouldnt like that either....basically, what he said was: no Zs, and no vehicle which needs work(basically any Z, older Nissan, any sports cars....well ****...any vehicle for me basically). he wants me to get a truck.

sooo, i bought a 98 dakota r/t. its got intake, exhaust and reprogrammed ecu, and will have gutted cats when i get home. ill of course have to do stuff to it. just not sure what yet, other than cam and headers/cutouts.

dammit i need to save money for the next Z

I know what you mean by sheltered parents. Mine were too when I was your age. I left at 18, only because I wouldn't go into the military. I was really rebellious back then. And was raised in a Christian home.(not that it is all bad) So it was rough for me for a while. I think you need to find your own insurance, and say hey, this is not russia. I want a car I want, nobody picks out my cars but me. And that is how I have always been man. You should be able to drive what you want. And or own what you want. You are a friggin' adult. Would they rather you do something stupid, and break the law. Scarring your record for life? Or worse getting into drugs, and such. Your Z looks to me like it keeps you out of trouble, and gives you something to do. That is all part of owning older cars. Working on them, and being proud to own them. That is all I have to say, don't take it the wrong way man. Just trying to help you out.

Just go buy a new Z and tell your dad, "Look...I thought it over and decided I'd rather haul *** than haul dirt."

Just start pissing him off by looking at fast cars online, but do it at specific times so he'll see it.

OR punch him in the face, sell your truck, and buy a Z!!!!

well, thats the thing. i dont have enough time to work during school to pay for insurance for a TTZ, or probably a Z for that matter, and still have money to buy other stuff.

if i did have money to do that, i would have left last week to pick up a new Z

1. Just tell your dad. The best thing in the world is tunning up an import. z32 is really hard to work on them. that is going to keep me out of trouble been in the garage trying to fixit or been in the streets, getting in problems. It is always a bright side on everything, make sure use what ypur dad want's to hear in your favor? Get a 280z and drop a rb26 from a R32. that will rock.
