Custom Shift Knob!!!
 

hey i am making a custom shift knob in class on wednesday.
it will be made of blue anodized aliminum and black delron (hard plastic) and cap screws holding it all together.
over all it will be 85mm long and 35mm in dia.
the cap screws i am buying i can only get in packs of 12 so i can make 3 knobs but i dont need 3.
i can anodize the aluminum in any color and i have both white and black delron. so if you want one the first two to pm me with their order gets one.
they will all be hand made and one of a kind or 3 of a kind if you get the same colors.
i am asking 40 bucks for them or shoot me an offer.
each one will take me about 2 hours to make because of how many pieces they consist of.

hehe, got my machining degree back when manual was the focus. it's all CNC nowadays :(

Been seeing some job postings for Manual operators lately.

CAD is fun. I got petty good with it in high school.

Solid Edge is a great program. My roomate is finishing his M.E. degree, and has some pretty cool stuff on there. We are co-designing some pretty sick engines if I do say so. Ideas for engines we did not think were developed enough back in the day.

I can't believe you don't have a Z logo in there.

Where are the custom Z knobs you promised!!!???

ya Solid Edge is pretty cool. i've also done master cam. do they still teach G and M code or anything or is it all just CAD?

there is a big scuff/gouge in the face of it. i tried to take a pic of it but was too shiny
