Clutch Fluid Drained
4 Attachment(s)
Hey guys it's been so long that've posted on this forum..
Anyway to make a long story short.. car drained all clutch fluid on the street, managed to get home changing gears without clutch. Suspect was clutch slave cylinder.. and this it how it looked like in picture 1&2 Mechanic bought one and installed it on the car charging me 40$ and he was honest and told me that it wasn't a genuine one and if i wanted a genuine clutch slave i would need to order it from the US. Now the problem that he mentioned & i noticed is that the fork is not lined up correctly.. and that caused the OEM clutch slave cylinder to wear. Do you think this clutch slave (this knock off in pictures 3&4) will hold up to a month or so ? since i am waiting an arrival of downpipes and testpipes and i have a rear main sealing & transmission sealing & a pair of solid shifter bushings lying around. That way i can do everything all at once in a transmission drop. Thanks for reading. |
It should, but don't disregard that it might not. I would be concerned why the fork is off so much.

Yea i"ll keep you updated on what have caused this when i do the transmission drop !
Any thoughts what would've caused this ? |
There is a little clutch fork pivot ball the clutch fork rides on, thats the only thing I can think of besides the clutch fork itself.
