can you use a turbo fuel pump on a non turbo?

I have a 95 n/a and I believe my fuel pump is having trouble. I'm getting a gas smell and a buzzing noise when it's hot (even though my Z mechanic tells me that when it gets hot, z fuel pumps can make that noise. Here in Miami it's hot except for a couple of days in winter.) I was looking to buy a fuel pump, but noticed that n/a fuel pumps are much more expensive than better performing turbo fuel pumps. Any idea if I put a turbo fuel pump in a n/a without trouble and having to change my controller?
I'm also looking to change the fuel pump regulator, fuel filter and fuel dampner. (ain't gonna eat for a while)

it's a pdf... so it might be easier to "right click and save as".

No... they aren't the same.
