Bye Bye Cherry Pearl :(

Well.....i traded it yesterday

it was actually sad to see it go, even tho i wanted it gone.

but i traded it for a 90 white TT with a bunch of parts. so ive got a whole new project to start. it has a few more things wrong with it than i thought, but ive got almost all the parts to make a strong 400+ whp engine sitting in boxes in my garage.

i will post up more info and some pics of the new Z tomorrow probably...just thought i would get this thread goin now

well, it needs a good amount of work...mostly cosmetic, but some suspension and or steering needs to be replaced/fixed

the valves are ticking because i guess the used ones were put back in. i can smell burnt oil sometimes in the engine bay, and the fuel pump whines

and the worst problem, that ive been, and am working on trying to fix is i think im in safety boost. ive ran a diagnostic...clean, he said the turbos were rebuilt. he did put in some kind of boost jet, that i am still trying to figure out(with stock ecu). i am gonna check the wastegates tommorrow sometime, and then i guess ill check out the boost gauge install. after that, im clueless

yes! i need him on here lotsa now

EDIT: I just peaked at 11psi.....HOLY **** that was amazing. i decided to clean some connectors and sensors, and i think that did it. it mighta been a dirty temp sensor. plus i played around with the boost jets, so ill try to get myself to put it back to 9psi. but DAMN...i didnt even boost in 1st, and then shifted before 5500 in every other gear...
