Call your telephone service provider when you get his telephone #... there will be some service fees, probably for that information.

Phone Company won't give you info but they'll verify it...as long as its not private...if it's private, he should still be able to authorize the phone co. to give away his info.

Yes, 411 or 0 for operator to direct you to international #'s.

Tell him to give u his families address in NY... and where his car is serviced.

It should be easy to get this info unless he's hard to contact.

You can see if car was registered/insured under the name he gave you.

...and did you check on international car transporting co's for yourself?....can't be cheap.

Personally, I don't trust it.. even if there is a car, i don't think its in top condition given all the travelling its been thru.

Interestingly enough I too came to this website because I found this same z32 for sale. I also emailed Martin and was trying to figure out if it was a scam..... I have received a email from him with a pretty normal story. I'm trying to figure out if this is BS or real. I realize, having sold several cars, that these things take time. Hes also trying to sell it to a "american" because its still registered in the USA. This is a complicated matter and I'm sure most people back out as soon as they understand this. The price is suspect too, who sells a 92 TT with those kinds of mods for under 10,000 bucks?? The thing that really strikes me funny is why no one on this forum knows this car, yet its displaying a huge ad on its front windsheild for zdriver? Pics of this Z dont exist anywhere on this forum? I cant find a Martin of any kind registered here either. I think I'm gonna bow out of this one........

 

yup, major scam. And to clear things up, there are quite a few people who know this car on this forum. This used to be owned by a stateside driver years ago, and he ended up selling it (to whom, I don't know). So now every couple of months this same topic keeps poping up on this forum.....all you need to know is: A. It's a nice Z, and B. It's 100% a scam. And of course, every story is close to the same.....foreign owner needs to sell it to get it out of the country, preferably to an American buyer....this guy is an ******* and should be hung for what he is doing IMO.

 

Dam there are so many idiots out there. If you ever have the feeling that something is a scam then 9times out of 10 it is. For you to even think and go threw alll the trouble to post this shows you have no common sense. Not trying to bash you but seems that most people dont have any common sense anymore.

Tell the seller you want to buy it and you will send the money i just do that for kicks for wasting my time. And remember the saying if it smells like crap then it is crap. And i do agree that hanging this guy would be the wise thing to do.
