yup then just drop the converter put up the flywheel etc. dont know how it might be though adding the master and plumbing, you could pull it off im sure, but it will probably be not so fun, but so worth it in the end

don't get centerforce. Dunno why they make the Z ones so bad and the domestic ones so mediocre.
RPS, ACT, & JWT make good clutches for the Z.

at a shop my freind used to work at, they installed a fidanza flytwheel on his camaro, it turns out that fidanza machined it wrong and everytime he pressed in the clutch it would pull back on the thrust bearings. and well it only took so long before the thrust bearings gave out, then when he pulled the flywheel out is was majorly warped beyond use, thats why i dont use fidanza's..

i was actually thinking of getting the OS gilken 3 piece clutch.

not worth it, and fidanza is probably the premier pressure plate companies in the world, they should have fully re-funded him, and ive never heard of a single person have a problem with fidanza until now. so one bad experience from your friends camaro leaves you with a grudge on a company? lol, thats not very fair

fidanza makes flywheels snw, plus i dont think a camaro that put 600 to the wheels is shitty, didnt you consider putting a sbc into your 260???

wow, first off my bad, i definatly meant to type flywheels but i just woke up. second, i dont like camaros unless they are the real classics. 70's or older. and the SBC swap in my 260 was when i was getting down and out and i actually saved teh 260 from a guy that was gonna do an SBC swap to it. if i ever wanted to make a straight up drag car though then maybe i would use one.

well, i ran my car up and down a mountain (highway 74) doing 50-100MPH and almost never going below 5k RPM, about 8 times plus all the street driving and the trips to the "back strait" for top speed testing its amazing that it still lived for as long as it did..
