I am new to this site and will try to forego the usual newbie mistakes. I am looking at purchasing a 92 TT 55-spd from a person in Miami. He claims to be in the military and is now stationed in Prague. I was given an extensive list of mods to the car and an album of 49 pictures showing every possible angle of the car at least once. There are only 77K miles and he included a CarFax report on the vehicle. It was registered in Texas, Florida & Hawaii. There is a ZDriver sticker in the front window and that is what turned me on to this site.
I am rather leary of buying a car site-unseen but he seems to be able to provide all the needed answers. The price is incredibly low for a car of such potential. I drove a new TT in '92 while working at a car dealership and have wanted one ever since. This seems like to good an opportunity to miss but the deal seems almost to good to be true. There is the dilemna. Any input would be appreciated. I am planning on finalizing the purchase this week. I hope to join the proud league of owners of this incredible car very soon.

He has given me the VIN, a carfax report, and established an account with SquareTrade that has a 10K$ gaurantee. SquareTrade e-mailed me stating his information has been verified. Supposedly I am supposed to receive the car and have 5 days to evaluate it before giving my approval. If I like it then Squaretrade releases the funds to him. If it doesn't turn out than I get my money back.
I have the list of modifications and the pictures on 2 different e-mails he sent me. I would post the links to them if I knew how. I can put the VIN up though.

The guy just told me that he had the car ready to ship to me and he's waiting for the confirmation from Squaretrade of the deposit.
It's a medium blue 5-spd tt '92 in Florida. Pretty much everything on the car has been upgraded.

FRAUD ALERT, Jago whatever you do don't send any money to this guy and only buy the car with cash on delivery, I have been looking into this car as well as it is advertised on a German website, his name is supposed to be David Angota, the car is supposed to be in Prague sounds like the same car to me and he is asking about $6000.00 the idiot tells me the car has 230bhp and yet the spec sheet looks like it has about 500bhp+ it also has US spec seatbelts which were not available in Europe, and it appears he is lying about owning the car from new as well as he would not have been able to buy a US spec car new in Europe etc etc the innacuracies continue...........just as well the sticker in the winscreen also brought me to this site..........................

Let me tell you something about this car... The Nissan is in a great condition, almost new and the engine have 230 PS . Has been used just 86.500 km. Most of the Km's are made on highway. The car needs nothing, only a new and serious owner because this car is a really beauty.
The registration paper is in hand and it's clear. It's a beauty, believe me. This is a Nissan made in 08/1992.
The price is 4.850 euros , plus shipping fees (or you can come at my place and pick up the car).

I'm in the U.S.Army ( lieutenant ), and here in Prague I work at American Embassy, as military attached for long time , about 3 years .
I put a low price because me and my wife decided to buy a house from here , from Prague and I need money for this and I don't have time to stay for a high price.
I took care of it like it was my own baby and now is in the same condition as it was when I bought it - even better!
I work at Embassy and I don't have the time for come back in Germany and sell the car from Germany and I know I will sell the car at high price than 6 - 7,000 Euros. So... I will ship the car to your location with the train or air cargo, depend how we will convent.

if he was a lieutenant in the us army, his english would be much better. he also tries to convince you it is not a scam just a bit too much. unless you do the deal face to face, i would walk.

 

Yeah this is the same car. Our last correspondence involved him stating the price of the car being 3000 higher than anything we had discussed before. I questioned him on it and have heard nothing else. Must be trying to run to many scams to keep them all straight.
Whoever truly owns this car should take some precautions. This guy is throwing the ownership records of this car around and the VIN.

this car is know all over the internet there is no way you could have this thing for 6g's just go to yahoo and go to images and search 300zx you'll find at least 6 of these pics here from just random 300zx webpages. I hate people who act like they have a beautiful car and to make it worse try and sell it.

its a few people working togethor and ripping mad people off ive seen it with supras 300zx basically anything nice for retarded cheap is a scam theyre into bmws everything. its funny because if you keep emailing them eventually they slip up with what they listed and you can catch them. i got em good and then they said do you want to get in on this i need someone in the states, my reply was simple ( uhhhh im too lazy). yes theres no way you can get a 60000 dollar car for 5000.

So if you want that our deal to be safe here it is what i can propose you: let's use a third part to manage our deal...what about that?
I prefer the payment to be hold by a third party like Alert Pay and only after you receive and test the car the payment has to be released to me. After you will receive the car you have 5 business days to decide if you will buy it or not.
