snwbrderphat540 11-11-2008 07:51 PM

there are a bunch i thought we had a collective thread but i can only find individual ones in each section i pay 250 a year for the bike and i think like 270 or maybe 400 every 6 months for the sx not sure yet havent gotten a bill on it haha. it was 270 for the 280Z though every six months

260zturbo 11-11-2008 07:56 PM

for my 2002 eclipse my insurance is 200 a month. my 84 ranger is only 200 a YEAR and my z is not on the road much yet so no insurance for her. im 22 with a couple tickets/ no wrecks (knock on wood)

NismoPick 11-11-2008 07:56 PM

maybe the title is a repost, but theres a reason why i posted it in the z32 section, so instead of getting a bunch of different info on like a s30 or z33 or z31 i would (hopefully) get mostly if not only z32 owners to post it, thius making this not a repost. :023:

snwbrderphat540 11-11-2008 08:06 PM

no def is a repost because the majority of the other threads WERE for the Z32 section. i paid 800 a year for my Z32 btw. that was when i was 17 or 18

hoov100 11-11-2008 08:09 PM

the problem i found with the other threads (the reason why i started a new one) was that they didnt have enough info which makes the data useless. (like age, state, coverage....etc)

KasbeKZ 11-11-2008 08:57 PM

i'm in VA, 18 years old, one accident my fault with no tickets, and when the Z32 came off the insurance 2 or so months ago, i believe i was paying around $700 a year. i think. my parents paid for it. i'll check.

b300z 11-12-2008 08:18 AM

17-20, i paid 1800 a year i think. full coverage, 500 deductible

KasbeKZ 11-12-2008 09:19 AM

oh yeah i forgot to say mine was only liability.

Aphrodite 11-12-2008 11:12 AM

24yrs - groton CT
I pay about 500/year for full coverage 500$ deductible
ive had a few speeding tickets but no accidents, listed at 12kmi/year usage

rtmorgan 11-12-2008 05:44 PM

well fyi location makes a huge difference in price

i am 19yrs old no tickets, accidents, etc. good student discount, good driver discount and multi car discount even though i only have one car (my insurance guy is cool like that). and i live in mesa az
anyways i pay 119 a month for liability.
ohh i have a z32
i just got a ticket so i will update this later when i get the new bill :disgust:

if i drive my old car (which sits now) a 1979 300sd mercedes benz it is only like 70 or so for liability.

i might have to switch back depending on what the tickets does to my bill:022:

KasbeKZ 11-12-2008 05:58 PM

are you just talking about the tint ticket? it shouldn't be too bad.

ZLover4Life 11-12-2008 06:53 PM

When I was paying full coverage at the age of 17, it was something like $209 a month, or so (not sure exactly what it was since I also had life insurance and and a Roth IRA that I was paying into at the time). That comes to about $2508 a year.

Now I pay less than a grand a year. And I don't pay for full coverage anymore... I deemed it a poor investment at this point for me (if I were to wreck it, the amount they'd give me amounts to dick... I'm better off saving the money now and spending on repairs if I need to later).

no it is for the speeding going 56 in a 45 (soon to be 50 in less than a 1/8th mile) remember?
i took the tint off and the tint ticket goes away

KasbeKZ 11-12-2008 07:37 PM

yeah i remember it now. looks like my insurance is pretty cheap compared to all yours. i guess it's pretty cheap out in the woods where i am. the closest city to me is richmond, and the only thing it's known for is gonorrhea.

i need to edit my insurance report. i said 700 a year, it turns out it was between 6 and 7 hundred twice a year. it's about $110 a month i think. not so cheap any more.

Goofyz 11-13-2008 02:25 AM

Insurance

638$ a year for full coverage for 95tt

used to pay 702$ a year for car +600cc sport bike (late model)

Insurance rates vary greatly by your location too. I moved within western Washington and that alone shot my rates up $100 per 6 month period. (for 2 vehicles) I'm in a more populated area now.
