whatever you do, make sure you can see the car in person. Be so careful of scams. Always state cash on delivery and make sure you offer the broker of your choice to do the transaction. 9k. Where is the car located? What has he told you. I dunno but something is fishy to me.

thanks both of you, for replying, 1st of all i wouldnt buy a car i cant drive first, the car is in ohio, i'm going monday probably to check it out, maybe bring it home and 2nd he has said there is no problem taking it to a mechanic, he said we can take it to a nissan dealership if we want... i did a carfax, everything checks out except he failed emissions once, but i'm guessing thats because it doesnt have cats so i'll have to ask him about that.....but i'm glad you guys think its a deal.
he was asking 11k but he said he'll take 9k because he has a porsche now and hasnt really had time to drive both so he just wants to get rid of it.
thank you both, any other suggestions or recomendations please comment

sometimes you just get awesome deals. i got a 92 mr2 turbo for 800. it had 70,000 on it. the kid said the motor was blown i took it back to my shop and an hour later it was running. it needed fuel hoses. i sold the car for 6200 and put about 130 into it. so yeah sometimes it just happens that way.

I know it sucks

I bought a car off ebay, took a flight out 1 way to see it and drove it and decided to get it so i drove it back 600miles. Everything worked out fine. I did NOT give him any money before i flew out but i did stay in constant communication with the seller. The car i bought was completely stock, but it was an average mile car so i actually felt better about it not being modded. I strongly recommend if you are going to by a modded car take it to get compression tested and inspected by someone who knows what it is they are doing. Modded cars put extra stress on parts that wear out. If you are like me, you might want to get a stock non-modded car and kinda build it up yourself, that way you will get a better understanding and appreciation of the car you are still making a payment on and you can make it exactly how you want it. If you are going to do a big transaction on ebay go through an escrow service, some banks offer this service. Good luck on finding a good car.
